Welcome to Lisbon and the ECMTB 2018!

The 11th European Conference on Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ECMTB 2018) will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 23 to 27 July, 2018. The venue is the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon), FCUL, and its research centre CMAF-CIO will host the event.
The scientific program of the ECMTB 2018 will include lectures of plenary speakers, minisymposia, contributed talks and posters presentation. |

Early conference check in will be possible on July 22th, 2018 afternoon. There will be a complimentary welcome drink during this afternoon and the conference material will be delivered to the participants. More information to be announced soon.
We will offer a lunch box to the participants during the Conference days (23 to 27 July, 2018). Free welcome drinks will be served during the poster sessions. |

On July 25th we will have a free afternoon with three different options for excursions. Choose one and enjoy Lisbon! The Conference Dinner will take place on July 26th and is opened to participants and accompanying persons, with a special price to participants due to the support to this social event by EMS and other sponsors. Reservations for the excursions and the conference dinner, as well as hotel reservations, are handled by Abreu Events, the official travel agency of ECMTB 2018. |

SPECIAL INVITATION: The ESMTB, to celebrate the Year of Mathematical Biology 2018 and wishing to extend its membership to other researchers in the area, invites every participant that is not yet an ESMTB member to become a member and welcomes those accepting such invitation by exempting them of the first year membership fee. If interested, please tick the appropriate box in the registration form here. NOTE: If you accept the invitation, it takes effect after you becoming a Conference participant, that is, after payment of the ECMTB 2018 registration fee, so the Conference fee should be according to your current status (prior to becoming an ESMTB member). |
